Welcome to Joy Peter Foundation
Joy Peter Foundation was born out of a sincere desire to uplift the less privileged, with various programs targeted at the downtrodden. Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under registration number CAC/IT/NO 148285, Joy Peter Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to creating positive change. Our mission is to alleviate poverty through economic empowerment, skill acquisition, education and training, and community development. We are also committed to improving rural healthcare delivery, advocating against unhealthy practices and human rights abuses, and ensuring peaceful coexistence among various tribes and religions.
Since its inception, Joy Peter Foundation has been uniting and uplifting communities, putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged, orphans, widows, vulnerable groups, and unemployed youth and women.
Our Story
Joy Peter Foundation was established out of a deep commitment to humanitarian service and community development. Our founder, driven by a personal experience of witnessing the struggles of the underprivileged, took the bold step of creating an organization that would address these pressing issues head-on. Since our inception, we have consistently focused on making life worth living for the poorest of the poor through a range of impactful programs and initiatives.

Founder and Executive Director
Joy Chioma Peter
Joy Chioma Peter, the Executive Director of Joy Peter Foundation, is a dedicated leader committed to uplifting the less privileged. Born in Ngor Okpala, Imo State, Nigeria, Joy’s compassion began early, demonstrated by her efforts like donating blood to save lives.
Under her leadership, Joy Peter Foundation, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), focuses on poverty alleviation, economic empowerment, skill acquisition, education, community development, and healthcare improvement. The foundation serves the less privileged, orphans, widows, vulnerable groups, and unemployed youth and women.
Joy holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Kogi State Polytechnic and has completed Mental Health Training with Neen/Ford Foundation. Her professional experience includes roles as CEO of ChiJoy Water Limited and Manager at MC Motors.
Joy’s leadership continues to inspire and transform lives, embodying the essence of giving and service.

Engr. Effiong Ndarake Effiong
Engr. Effiong Ndarake Effiong is a dynamic leader with a distinguished career in technology, social impact, and spiritual leadership. As a Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT Professional with over 15 years of experience, he has led numerous projects across various industries, specializing in information security, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and computer forensics.
Engr. Effiong is deeply committed to social change, leveraging technology-driven initiatives to improve the lives of underserved communities. His extensive academic qualifications, including multiple Master’s degrees and numerous professional certifications, highlight his ability to combine technical expertise with strategic thinking and a strong sense of purpose.
His visionary leadership and dedication to excellence, innovation, and service make him a respected and influential figure in the Nigerian community, consistently driving positive impact through his work with Joy Peter Foundation.
